Advertising and partnerships
Reviewed 12 October 2026. Kniton may publish limited commercial messages or work with organisations whose services are relevant to readers. Commercial activity must remain distinguishable from independent editorial material.
1. Clear labelling
Paid placements, sponsored features and affiliate links are identified in plain language near the relevant material. A reader should not need to infer a commercial relationship from design, tone or a hidden page.
2. Editorial separation
Advertisers cannot purchase a favourable editorial conclusion. Sponsored content is reviewed for accuracy, safety and suitability, while the commercial partner may review factual descriptions of its own service.
3. Restricted claims
We do not accept claims that guarantee health outcomes, cure conditions, exploit fear or pressure an immediate purchase. Products that require professional supervision, contain uncertain ingredients or target vulnerable people receive heightened scrutiny.
4. Health products
Any health-related product must provide lawful information, clear ingredients and appropriate warnings. A listing does not mean Kniton has independently verified every medical or manufacturing claim made by the provider.
5. Audience protection
We do not knowingly target children with health advertising. We avoid sensitive personalisation based on inferred health status. Visitors can contact us if a commercial message appears misleading, unsafe or improperly labelled.
6. Data and tracking
Commercial partners do not receive Kniton contact correspondence. Optional cookies or measurement tools must be described in cookies.php and used only in a manner consistent with applicable consent requirements.
7. Conflicts
Editors disclose relevant relationships before approving a partnership. If a conflict cannot be managed through separation, disclosure or independent review, the proposal may be declined.
8. Complaints
Send the page address, the claim at issue and the reason for concern through contact.php. We aim to acknowledge a substantiated advertising complaint within 10 working days and may pause a placement while reviewing it.
9. Partners and vendors
Vendors must follow applicable Indonesian law, platform rules and truthful communication practices. We reserve the right to remove a message when its landing page changes or no longer meets the agreement.
10. Record and revision
Partnership records are retained for 24 months after the campaign closes unless a longer period is legally required. This policy was published 1 July 2026 and revised 12 October 2026 to clarify health-claim review. The current version governs active placements.
Commercial material is reviewed before publication for clear identification, lawful presentation and a reasonable connection to the site’s audience. A placement may be declined when the available information is incomplete, the wording could mislead a reader or the format makes the commercial nature difficult to recognise. Acceptance of a placement does not transfer editorial control to the partner.
Partners may provide factual material about their organisation, service area, price structure or contact route, but Kniton editors decide the surrounding wording and placement. Sponsored material is not presented as independent reporting, and affiliate compensation, where used, is described near the relevant link. We do not request or share personal health profiles in order to arrange advertising.
Complaints should include the page address, the statement or creative at issue, the date observed and the reason it may be unclear or unsuitable. The advertising and editorial desks aim to acknowledge a report within seven business days and normally provide an outcome within 30 days. A placement may be paused while facts, consent records or labelling are checked.
Commercial partners do not receive contact correspondence merely because a visitor reads an advertisement. Any optional measurement must be described in cookies.php, limited to the stated purpose and handled according to the visitor’s choice. Providers may process technical data outside Indonesia under their own terms and applicable contractual safeguards.
Questions may be sent to Jalan Cendrawasih 25, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta 12120, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia, or +62 857 7149 2038. This policy was reviewed on 12 October 2026; material changes to formats, data use or labelling will be recorded with a new date.
